At the young age of 43, Glen Douglas Stone, president and founder of Glen Stone Excavation and Trucking Ltd. already has accumulated 28 years of practical work experience. Glen earned his early work experience in the landscape sector of the construction industry, working for one of the most respected firms in the Halifax metro area. Glen moved into self-employment after this and gradually grew to the point where he had construction equipment and full time staff operating as a proprietor under the trade name of Glen Stone Excavating and Trucking. In 2001, he incorporated his business and is currently registered in good standing at the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies. In 2011, the company will employ a staff of 14 and utilize sixteen pieces of construction machinery and trucks.
